Back up and Data Recovery

 

We cannot stress enough the necessity of having a functioning back up or data recovery system!  Everybody always thinks that it won't happen to them but we get frequent calls from different clients needing help with the loss of data.  We have a wonderful online backup program available that allows all the data on your machine to be saved onto a server that is in another state.  Just recently one of our clients called us early on a Sunday morning to let us know that their office had been broken into and all of their computers had been stolen.  It was a horrible situation for them but luckily we had them set up on our online backup system and we keep a few spare computers around for just such circumstances.  We had them set up with the recovered data on Monday and a week later they had all new computers with all their old information.  It helps to be prepared!
